Level 1 Classified Diver Training (ED1)

TSSF/CMAS Level 1 Classified Diver Training

A diver is considered a Classified Diver under TSSF/CMAS standards if, due to their physical condition, they are able to complete the theoretical requirements of adaptive diving training but cannot perform a fully equipped dive without assistance underwater, nor assist themselves or their dive buddy in potential underwater emergencies.

Participation Requirements:

  • Must be at least 14 years old; participants under 18 require a signed parental consent form.

  • Must meet the health conditions outlined in Article 22 of the Disabled Diver Diving Instructions.

  • Divers may dive up to a maximum depth of 5 meters only under the supervision of a federation-affiliated adaptive diving instructor (EDE) and adaptive diving instructor assistant (EDEA). Night dives are not permitted.

Training Program:

  • 9 hours of theoretical lessons, pool training, and open water exercises.

Required Documents:

  • Registration form and health declaration form

  • 2 passport-sized photographs

  • Copy of ID card
